Phone Snatched in Brutal Ashford Street Robbery

A man in his 30s was punched and robbed in Ashford at around 9.10pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020. The victim was walking through Church Passage when a gang of five youths attacked him, stealing his phone and leaving him with facial injuries.

Suspects Flee Towards Tufton Street

The group, believed to be teenagers, made off towards Tufton Street after the assault. Police are urgently hunting for witnesses or anyone with information.

Descriptions of the Gang

  • Boy 1: Dark hair, light top, rucksack on back
  • Boy 2: Blonde hair, white top and shorts
  • Boy 3: Short, stocky build, ginger or blond hair, white t-shirt, red shorts, orange trainers
  • Boy 4: Tall, stocky build, brown hair, black tracksuit with white stripes down sleeves
  • Girl 5: Long dark hair, light brown or khaki skirt
