Power tools and utility vehicle stolen in daring overnight raids in Risden Lane
Three businesses hit hard
Thieves struck at three commercial properties on Risden Lane between 11pm on Friday 7 January and 7.30am on Saturday 8 January 2022. The haul included a large quantity of power tools, a metal tool chest, a Gator utility vehicle, and a trailer.
Cops hunt break-in gangs
PC Sophie Gates, leading the investigation, warned these crimes will hit local businesses hard. She urged anyone with information to come forward. “We’re reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing locals. Motorists with dashcams who were in Hawkhurst at the time should check for any useful footage,” she said.
