Woman Attacked by Four Teens in Mote Park Footpath Assault
A shocking attack unfolded around 8.15pm on Thursday 8 April 2021, when a woman in her 40s was walking through Mote Park towards Willington Street. Four teenagers suddenly approached her from behind and launched a vicious assault, leaving her with injuries to her face and hand.
Suspects: Two Boys and Two Girls with Local Accents
The attackers are described as two boys and two girls, all white, aged between 16 and 18, standing around 5ft 8in tall, with local accents. The boys were slim, had short dark hair, and wore dark clothing. Both girls were slim; one had long dark hair at shoulder length, while the other’s hair fell past her shoulders.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We are appealing to anybody who was in the park to call us if they saw the incident or people matching the suspects’ descriptions,” said Inspector Stephen Kent of the maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Community Safety Unit.
“The assault happened near the Shepway estate side of the park. We urge drivers with dashcam footage and residents with CCTV to check their recordings for anything that might help.”
