Two men were snapped up by armed cops in Bouverie Place, Folkestone, after reports of a man carrying what looked like a firearm.

Armed officers moved in fast, arresting two men and recovering an imitation firearm during the swoop.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “An imitation firearm has been seized as part of ongoing enquiries.”
