Armed Police Arrest Two Men in Folkestone with Fake Gun
Quick Action After Gun Sighting
Two men were snapped up by armed cops in Bouverie Place, Folkestone, after reports of a man carrying what looked like a firearm.
Imitation Weapon Seized
Kent Police confirmed officers were called at 5pm on Monday, April 18, following a tip-off about a possible gun in a man’s pocket on Harbour Street.
Armed officers moved in fast, arresting two men and recovering an imitation firearm during the swoop.
Investigation Ongoing
A Kent Police spokesman said: “An imitation firearm has been seized as part of ongoing enquiries.”
