Man Arrested After Car Ploughs Into Pedestrians at Liverpool FC Title Parade
A man has been arrested after a car crashed into a crowd of pedestrians during Liverpool FC’s Premier League title celebrations in the city centre.

The smash happened just after 6:00 PM on Water Street as thousands gathered to celebrate Liverpool’s first league title since 2020. Police confirmed a vehicle hit several people amid the jubilant crowd.
“We were contacted just after 6pm today, Monday 26 May, following reports that a car collided with a number of pedestrians on Water Street,” said a Merseyside Police spokesperson.
Emergency crews, including paramedics and police, rushed to the scene. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was quickly detained by officers.
