Knife Fight Erupts at King Street Fast Food Joint – Four Men Arrested
A late-night brawl at a King Street fast-food spot ended with four men in cuffs, police confirm. The fracas kicked off just after 2am on Saturday, 25 March 2023, following an earlier scuffle in the Harbour Street area.
Violence Spills Over from Harbour Street
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene after the violent clash. Two suspects were promptly arrested at King Street and taken to hospital with injuries — one reportedly from a knife wound. Thankfully, their injuries aren’t life-threatening. The other two suspects were detained shortly after.

Officers are now begging the public for help. If you caught anything on your phone or have doorbell or CCTV footage, they want to hear from you. Drivers in and around King Street and Harbour Street are urged to check their dashcams for clues.

Possible Link to Taxi Driver Assault Under Investigation
Police are exploring whether one of the arrested suspects is connected to a separate incident hours earlier. At around 11.20pm on Friday 24 March, a taxi driver was assaulted and robbed of cash in Margate Road, Ramsgate. The attacker allegedly stabbed the victim—who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
