Harrow Man Fatally Stabbed in Kingsbury
The worst tragedy struck early Sunday, 18 May, when 26-year-old Ali Faris Muhammad was found stabbed on Kingsbury Road at 3.31am. He was rushed to Northwick Park Hospital but sadly died from his injuries. Authorities have shut down the nearby Tigerbay shisha lounge for three days amid ongoing investigations.
Critical Stabbing in Walthamstow
The night before, a 25-year-old man was found critically wounded on Walthamstow High Street at 10.47pm. Police quickly cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. The victim remains in a London hospital fighting for his life.
Five Stabbed at Packed Plumstead Music Event
At around 4.20am Sunday, chaos erupted at a music event on Nathan Way, Plumstead, which drew roughly 300 party-goers. Five men, aged between 22 and 32, suffered stab wounds. One victim remains hospitalised with life-changing injuries. All five have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, as police hunt for more suspects.
Knife Fight Breaks Out in Islington
Just before 4am on 17 May, police responded to reports of a knife fight at Watkinson Road near Caledonian Road, Islington. A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds to his chest and back. He was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
Police Crack Down Amid Rising Knife Crime
The Metropolitan Police have launched multiple investigations and boosted patrols in hotspot areas. No arrests have yet been made in the Islington or Walthamstow stabbings. The closure of the Tigerbay lounge is part of emergency licensing efforts to determine if the venue fueled the disorder.
