East London Man Jack Hague Fatally Stabbed in Tower Hamlets

Jack Hague, 38, known for his warmth and humour, was tragically stabbed to death on Corfield Street, Tower Hamlets, Sunday evening, May 5. The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Officers arrived just after 8pm following reports of a disturbance. They found Hague suffering a stab wound. Despite rapid medical aid, he died at the scene.

Family Grieves as Police Probe Murder

Local-born Hague leaves behind a heartbroken family, supported by specially trained officers. A post-mortem is scheduled in the coming days.

“He had an infectious smile and a loving nature,” Hague’s mother said. “Jack was ‘Uncle Jack’ to his niece and nephew, a bright light in their lives.”

Police Appeal for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John vowed to bring the killer to justice. He called for anyone with information or CCTV footage from the area to come forward.

No arrests have been made yet. Witnesses should contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 6482/05May, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
