Urgent Search Underway for Missing 81-Year-Old on Isle of Wight
Police have launched a major search across the Isle of Wight for Mohammad Salih, an 81-year-old man who vanished yesterday afternoon. Concern is mounting as he has not been heard from since he was last spotted around 1:20pm on Sunday in Godshill’s Shanklin Road area.
Desperate Search Efforts in Full Swing
Authorities, including WightSAR, Bembridge and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams, and the Search and Rescue Coastguard helicopter, joined forces at 1:30am this morning to find Mr Salih. Police fear for his welfare as hours tick by without any sign.
What Mohammad Was Wearing
- Height: 5ft 7in
- Build: Small, very thin
- Hair: White/grey, short
- Clothing: Black woolly hat, thin yellow nylon coat, thick black woollen fleece, dark trousers, black leather shoes, gloves
- Additional: May be carrying a small blue pouch bag
