Lewisham Horror: Young Man Stabbed to Death on New Year’s Eve
A shocking stabbing rocked Lewisham today when a 23-year-old man was fatally attacked on Grove Street near Evelyn Street at around 12:35pm on December 31.
Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene but were unable to save the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Launch Murder Inquiry as Killer Flees
The Metropolitan Police swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a full murder investigation. Detectives are combing the scene for clues in a desperate hunt to track down the attacker.
Manhunt Underway – No Arrests So Far
A Met Police spokesperson said: “No arrests have been made at this early stage and enquiries remain ongoing. A crime scene remains in place.”
The killer is still at large, and the police are urging anyone with information to step forward immediately.
