Stepney Green Shooting: 28-Year-Old Man Hospitalised After Early Morning Gun Attack

Man Shot in Arm at Dawn

A 28-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being shot in the arm during a shocking early morning incident in Stepney Green, East London. The shooting occurred around 4am today (Thursday, March 27) on Waley Street, near Duckett Street.

The victim self-presented at hospital shortly after the shooting. Doctors confirmed his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Launch Full Investigation

The Metropolitan Police quickly sealed off Waley Street as a crime scene. Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries in the area.

“At around 4am on Thursday, 27 March, police were made aware that a man, aged 28, was being treated in hospital for a gunshot wound to the arm. The incident took place on Waley Street, E1, before 04:00hrs. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
