Man Arrested After Teen Girl Attacked Outside Guildford Nando’s

A man was snapped up by police after a teenage girl was assaulted outside Nando’s in Guildford on the evening of 4 July. The attack happened at around 6.15pm on Friary Street, right outside the popular eatery.

Victim Hospitalised, Suspect in Custody

The teenage victim was rushed to hospital following the assault. Police quickly arrested a suspect, who is now being held in custody as investigations continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Inspector Andy Skoglund, leading the probe, said:

“We have launched a full investigation and used multiple resources for a swift arrest. The attack took place in a busy area, so many people may have seen what happened.”

“This was not a random attack – we believe the suspect and victim know each other. We are asking anyone who hasn’t yet given a statement to come forward urgently.”
