Woman in 50s Dies in Horror M2 Crash
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a fatal smash on the M2 motorway early Sunday morning.
Deadly Collision on London-Bound M2
At 6.14am on 27 November 2022, a red Nissan Qashqai and a red Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG crashed between junctions six and five on the London-bound carriageway.
Emergency crews raced to the scene, but tragically the Nissan driver, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the spot.
Man Arrested Over Drink and Dangerous Driving
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and drink-driving following the collision.
The motorway was shut for hours and only reopened around 4pm. The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit want anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam/CCTV footage to get in touch.
