18-Year-Old Arrested Over Terror Docs in North-East London

Detectives from the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command have hauled in an 18-year-old man from north-east London. He’s suspected of possessing documents containing info useful for terrorism, breaching section 58(1)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Early Morning Arrest Sparks Police Search

The arrest happened around 8am on Thursday, 25 July. The man is now held under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at a south London station. Meanwhile, officers are still combing through a north-east London address linked to the suspect.
