Man Arrested for Attempted Murder After High-Speed Crash on Whitburn’s A183
A man is in custody after a brutal collision on the A183 Coast Road in Whitburn sparked a shocking police probe into attempted murder.
Crash Details
The smash happened at around 7:40pm on Thursday, April 17, near Sea Lane junction. A grey Ford Fiesta and a motorcycle were involved in the wild incident.
Police say the Fiesta, driven southbound following an alleged altercation, left the road and smashed into the motorbike. The rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and remains in critical condition in hospital.
Suspect Held on Attempted Murder Charges
A man in his 30s has been arrested for attempted murder. He is currently held in police custody as investigators probe the chaotic crash.
The A183 was shut overnight for forensic work but has since reopened.
