Man Fights for Life After Brutal KFC Brawl in Walton on Thames

Shocking Attack Outside Busy Fast Food Joint

Police are scrambling for witnesses after a man in his 50s was left fighting for his life following a violent altercation in Walton on Thames tonight. The drama unfolded around 5.45pm inside a packed KFC on High Street, where an argument between three men quickly got out of hand.

The heated row spilled outside, ending with the victim being viciously assaulted. He reportedly lost consciousness and was rushed to hospital with life-threatening head injuries. His next of kin have been informed.

Suspects Arrested After Fleeing Scene

The other two men involved, both in their 20s, fled immediately but were later caught. Police arrested them on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) at a Walton property. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.

Police Plead for Eyewitnesses and Dashcam Footage

“The restaurant and surrounding streets would have been extremely busy at the time,” said Detective Sergeant Antony Preston. “We need to hear from anyone who was in KFC or nearby who saw or heard anything. We’re especially keen to speak to drivers and delivery riders with dashcams or helmet cams—we believe their footage could be crucial.”

Police have reassured the public that no other suspects are being sought. However, an increased police presence may be noticeable in the area.
