Chaos erupted in Regent Street late Friday night as a man went on a hammer rampage. Police were called at 10.54pm after reports of attacks on multiple victims.

Four Hospitalised, None Life-Threatening

  • Two women hit with a hammer on Regent Street – one in her 30s, the other in her 20s.
  • Attacker then stormed a pub on Glasshouse Street, assaulting a woman in her 40s and a man in his 50s.
  • All four victims rushed to hospital; thankfully, none are in life-threatening condition.

Attacker Nabbed by Pub Security

Security staff inside the pub detained the 38-year-old suspect. Police arrested him on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and took him into custody at a central London station.
