Stabbing Drama on Whitechapel Road in the Early Hours
Police were scrambled at 1.56am on Friday, 9 April, after reports of a violent brawl involving weapons at the junction of Whitechapel Road and Cambridge Heath, E1.
Two Men Stabbed – Hospitalised but Stable
Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service to find a man in his 20s with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital. Not long after, police were notified that another man had shown up at an east London hospital with a stab wound to his arm. Both victims are believed to be linked to the same fight.
No Arrests Yet as Inquiry Continues
Thankfully, neither victim’s injuries are life-threatening. No arrests have been made so far, and police are still hunting for answers.
Road Closures Lifted After Incident
Whitechapel Road was temporarily closed during the investigation but has now reopened to traffic.
