Man Hospitalised After Brutal Bottle Attack in Anerley Park

A man is in hospital following a violent assault involving a glass bottle in Anerley Park, southeast London.

The Incident

The attack happened around 5:38pm on Saturday, 29 March in the SE20 area. Police rushed to the scene after getting reports of the assault.

Victim’s Condition and Arrest

Officers found the victim with serious head injuries caused by being struck with a glass bottle. He was taken to hospital where medics confirmed his injuries are non-life-threatening.

A man was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
