Man Airlifted to London Hospital After Brutal Maidstone Street Attack
A middle-aged man was left fighting for his life after a savage assault on Maidstone’s Pudding Lane on Thursday night. Emergency crews airlifted him to a London hospital after the terrifying attack.
Witnesses Describe Horrific Scene
A woman out with her two young children witnessed the violent ordeal. She told police the victim was kicked multiple times while on the ground. Another bystander, a man walking his dog, stepped in to try and stop the attack.
Life-Saving Intervention at Mote Park
The air ambulance touched down near Mote Park just after 9pm. Medics used advanced life-saving equipment to sedate the man before rushing him to hospital. A police officer accompanied him in the ambulance due to his critical condition.
Crime Scene Sealed Off, Police Hunt Suspects
Kent Police have sealed off Pudding Lane, cordoning off both ends of the street. Forensic officers recovered DNA, blood, and broken glass near a local bus stop. The investigation continues, with officers urging any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
“At 7.44pm on Thursday 10 February, patrols were called to a disturbance on Pudding Lane, Maidstone. A man has been taken by air ambulance to a London hospital. We urge anyone with information to contact Kent Police quoting reference 10-1162,” a Kent Police spokesman said.
