Man Stabbed to Death in Stratford – Murder Probe Launched

Early Morning Horror on Whalebone Lane

A murder investigation is underway after a man was found fatally stabbed in Stratford in the early hours of Monday, 17 June. London Ambulance Service alerted police just before 12.40am to reports of an unresponsive male collapsed with stab wounds near West Ham Lane, E15.

Victim Pronounced Dead at the Scene

Officers rushed to the scene and discovered the victim, believed to be in his 40s. He was pronounced dead at 1.01am. Police say they know the man’s identity and have informed his next of kin.

Crime Scene and Road Closures in Effect

A full crime scene remains in place with road closures on West Ham Lane between Widdin Street and Paul Street. Stratford Park is also shut as detectives continue their investigations. A post mortem is planned but has not yet taken place.
