Knife and Baseball Bat Gang Target Victim in Nursey Row Park

Detectives are on the hunt after a savage stabbing in Walworth left a 24-year-old man critically injured. Police rushed to East Street, SE17, just after 5pm on Friday, 21 August, following reports of the attack in nearby Nursey Row Park.

Victim in Critical Condition, No Arrests Yet

The young man was stabbed multiple times and remains in hospital battling for his life. A crime scene is in place, but police have yet to make any arrests as the investigation ramps up.

Police Seek Witnesses and Mobile Footage

DS Rob Merrett of Central South CID revealed: “I believe the victim was attacked by a group of up to six males armed with baseball bats and knives.”

He added, “We are combing forensic evidence, CCTV, and carrying out door-to-door enquiries. Anyone with information or mobile phone footage must come forward and contact police.”
