Teen Stabbed Outside Hackney Party
Detectives are hunting for leads after an 18-year-old was stabbed late Saturday night in Hackney. The stabbing happened just after 11.15pm on 30 March, outside a leisure centre on Hemsworth Street, near Pitfield Street, N1.
Serious Injuries After Party Attack
Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene where they found the victim with stab wounds to his chest. He was rushed to an east London hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Large Party Before the Attack
Investigators believe the teen had been at a big gathering at Colville Estate Community Centre before the stabbing. Central East CID is on the case, but no arrests have been made yet.
Detective Sergeant Lauren Brady said: “A young man has suffered serious injuries and an investigation is underway to identify the person responsible. At this early stage, we understand the victim had attended a large party prior to the attack and we know there were a lot of people in the area at the time of the incident who may have witnessed what happened. I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch as quickly as possible.”
