Man Shot After Armed Standoff in SE8
Police were called to Creek Road, SE8, at 2.31pm on Friday, August 5, following multiple 999 reports of a man armed with a firearm.
Armed Officers Discharge Weapon
Firearms officers rushed to the scene and arrested the suspect. During the arrest, a police gun was fired, injuring the man with a gunshot wound.
Emergency Services on Scene
The London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended immediately. The injured man was treated on the spot before being rushed to hospital. His current condition remains unclear.
