Teen Left Fighting for Life After Hit-and-Run in Newham

Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a teenage boy was left in a life-threatening condition in Newham.

Crash in Prince Regent Lane

The smash happened at 2.21pm on Tuesday, 17 October, when a car collided with a 15-year-old pedestrian on Prince Regent Lane, E13.

The boy was rushed to hospital, where he remains critically ill. His family have been informed.

Driver Flees Scene in White Toyota Prius

The driver failed to stop after the collision. Police believe the vehicle involved was a white Toyota Prius and are urgently searching to trace it.

Road closures are currently in place as officers continue their investigation.
