Terrifying Burglary in Southall: Pensioner Attacked with Corrosive Liquid
At 10.56pm on Thursday, March 30, police rushed to Lady Margaret Road in Southall after a terrifying aggravated burglary.
Men Armed with Knife and Screwdriver Spray Victim’s Face
Four masked men broke into a home, armed with a knife and screwdriver. They sprayed a corrosive liquid into the face of a man in his 70s before stealing a safe filled with cash and jewellery.
The elderly victim was taken to hospital with facial injuries. Thankfully, doctors confirmed the wounds were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Hunt Armed Robbers in Dark Clothing
An urgent manhunt is underway. Officers remain on the scene, searching for the four suspects described as wearing dark clothes, balaclavas, and gloves.
