Law enforcement have released a clear photo of the suspect entering Sparetime bowling alley around 7:15pm. He is described as a white man in black combat trousers and a brown top, armed with an AR-15 fitted with a laser optic.

Authorities also released an image of a white station wagon linked to the suspect, possibly with a black-painted bumper. Anyone spotting the vehicle or with information is urged to come forward immediately.

Community on Edge as Shelter-in-Place Order Stays Active

Lewiston residents remain on high alert with a shelter-in-place advisory in effect. Police urge everyone to stay indoors, lock doors, and report suspicious activity.

Local hospitals have declared a mass casualty event. Central Maine Healthcare and nearby facilities are coordinating to care for victims and support families during this crisis.

Governor Janet Mills said: “My heart goes out to the victims and their families. We stand united with Lewiston and will support public safety officials as this awful tragedy unfolds.”
