Two more suspects have been hauled in after a woman was pepper sprayed and robbed at Heathrow Airport, police confirmed today.
Heathrow Horror: Woman Attacked in Terminal 3
The terrifying incident happened just after 8am on Sunday in a car park lift at Terminal 3. The victim was reportedly robbed of her suitcase during the shocking assault.
A 31-year-old man was first arrested nearby on suspicion of robbery and assault but has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
Fresh Arrests Made in Lambeth
The Metropolitan Police have now swooped on two more suspects linked to the case:
- A 24-year-old man, suspected of robbery and assault.
- A 23-year-old woman, suspected of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Both remain in custody as detectives dig deeper into the shocking Heathrow attack.
Mass Ambulance Response, Several Injured
The London Ambulance Service raced to the scene, treating 21 people including a three-year-old girl. Five victims were taken to hospital. Thankfully, none suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
