Motorbike Thieves Nabbed Red-Handed in Basingstoke

Two brazen thieves in a white Transit van were caught cold while trying to nick a motorbike in Basingstoke’s Brighton Hill area on Monday afternoon.

Attempted Theft Foiled

At around 4pm, the duo targeted a bike but failed to make off with it. They were caught in the act and couldn’t get away with a single thing.

Hero Motorist Chases and Films Culprits

A quick-thinking passerby spotted the attempted robbery and gave chase, capturing both video footage and the van’s registration number. The vehicle was a high-top, long wheelbase Transit registered NC04 KXG.

In a dramatic twist, the passenger started throwing objects—including a fire extinguisher—out of the van at the trailing car!

Police Enquiries Underway

Authorities have confirmed that investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been reported yet, but thanks to the brave witness, the criminals didn’t get far.
