Motorcyclist Airlifted After Horrific Crash in Margate
Serious Collision Shakes Westbrook Avenue
A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a smash on Westbrook Avenue, Margate, on Tuesday afternoon. The 50-something rider was airlifted to a London hospital after a collision involving a white Skoda Yeti and a black-and-silver Aprilia motorcycle just before 4pm on 5 August.
Kent Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case and urgently wants anyone who saw the crash or spotted either vehicle beforehand to come forward. They’re especially keen to hear from:
- Eyewitnesses who saw the vehicles just before impact
- Locals or businesses with CCTV overlooking Westbrook Avenue
- Drivers with dashcam footage around the time of the crash
