The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder probe after a fatal stabbing rocked Willesden Green, North West London, in the early hours of Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Deadly Stabbing in Willesden Green
Police were called to Linacre Road, NW2, at around 4:16 AM following reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance.
A man in his 30s was found with severe stab wounds. Despite desperate attempts by emergency crews, he was sadly pronounced dead en route to hospital.
Investigation Underway
The victim’s formal ID is pending, but police are confident of his identity. Next of kin are being notified and supported by specialist officers. Meanwhile, road closures remain to allow forensic teams to comb the scene for clues.
No Arrests Yet – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
So far, no arrests have been made. Detectives are pleading for anyone who saw or heard anything linked to the stabbing to come forward.
