Murder Probe Launches After Man Found Dead in Telford Car Park
A murder investigation is underway after a 41-year-old man was found dead in a Telford car park.
Man Discovered Unresponsive at Dawn
West Mercia Police confirmed the man was found unresponsive in Gresley Close, Woodside, at around 6:30am on Monday, 17 July. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead on arrival.
What began as an unexplained death quickly turned into a murder enquiry after suspicious circumstances came to light.
Two Arrested as Police Ramp Up Investigation
A 44-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Additional officers have been deployed to the area to support the ongoing investigation.
Detective Inspector Steve Cook, leading the probe, said: “Although the investigation is at an early stage, the death is now being treated as suspected murder. We urge anyone who knows anything, no matter how small, to come forward.”
