Man, 23, Stabbed to Death in East London Knife Attack
Tragedy struck in Henniker Road, E15, in the early hours of Friday 6 August. Police were called at 1.41am to reports of a stabbing.
Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service to find two men injured. A 23-year-old had suffered a fatal stab wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
A 19-year-old man was also stabbed but taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police Hunt for Suspects in Ongoing Investigation
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the probe. A crime scene remains taped off, and no arrests have yet been made.
Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton said: “We are in the early stages and working hard to piece together what happened. Officers are conducting house-to-house enquiries and checking CCTV. We’ve spoken to several witnesses but urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.”
