Murder Probe Underway After Man Found Stabbed to Death in Haringey
Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 48-year-old man was found fatally stabbed at a home in Haringey.
Man Found with Fatal Stab Wounds
Police were called to Waldegrave Road, N8, just before midnight on Saturday, 13 June. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene after reports of a man suffering stab injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital but tragically died just before 1am on Sunday, 14 June.
Suspect in Custody
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is believed to be known to the victim and remains in police custody as detectives continue their inquiries.
Ongoing Investigation
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. A crime scene is still in place, and a post-mortem will be arranged soon.
Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
