Exclusive: Murdered Southampton Teen’s Dad Banned from Funeral by Her Mum
In a shocking twist, Lucy McHugh’s father has been told to stay away from her funeral later this month. Stacey White, the grieving mum of the murdered Southampton teenager, has banned Andy McHugh and his family from the service.
Mum’s Heartless Demand Sparks Family Feud
Stacey White made it clear in text and heated phone calls that Andy was never really part of Lucy’s life, a family friend revealed. The fallout has left Lucy’s dad and his family devastated.
Stacey even warned she would call the police to remove Andy and his relatives if they try to attend the celebration of Lucy’s life.
Lucy’s Celebration of Life: Strict Rules from Mum
Stacey posted to friends: “It’s with a broken heart I announce that my angel Lucy White’s Celebration of Life will be on 27th August at 12 noon, Hollybrook Cemetery. All who were positive in Lucy’s life are welcome.”
- Blues and greens requested — Lucy’s favourite colours.
- Respectful behaviour expected; police will be present to assist if needed.
- Family and close friends seated first inside the chapel, with a PA system set up outside.
- Flowers to be placed on grass outside the chapel, please.
Stacey added thanks to those supporting her family amid “this nightmare” and said they are still hoping for justice for their “precious baby.”
Family Friend Hopes for Reconciliation
A close family friend told UK News in Picture they hope Stacey might change her mind before the funeral day: “She was my beautiful little one, taken so soon by that monster.”
