Brick-Thrower Busted in Gravesend Vandal Spree

Police have arrested a youth after a brazen brick attack smashed windows at nine Gravesend businesses.

Early Morning Smash-Up

At 2.50am on Tuesday 8 September 2020, Kent Police were called to New Road after a man hurled a brick through a shop window.

Widespread Damage Across Town Centre

Officers found not one, but seven more shops targeted on Milton Road, Kempthorne Street, and New Road. Even a pub on King Street wasn’t spared, suffering similar vandalism.

Suspect Held and Under Investigation

A 19-year-old from Northfleet was snapped up nearby and is now in custody on suspicion of criminal damage. The probe is ongoing.
