No New Leads in Missing Isle of Wight Worker Rosie Johnson Case
Five days on, Rosie Johnson, a PGL worker, remains missing from the Isle of Wight. Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that no new searches are planned at the moment.
Search Efforts Stall Despite Major Operation
Officers, including specialist POLSAR teams, are still analysing existing info. Despite deploying a police helicopter and ground teams, no trace of Rosie has surfaced.
Rosie’s last known location was triangulated using her mobile phone, which stopped pinging Monday morning. The phone itself is still missing.
House-to-House Enquiries and CCTV Scrutinised
Police have conducted door-to-door enquiries, searched bins and gardens, and spoken to local residents. CCTV footage from the nearby Sloop Inn in Wootton and Southern Vectis buses has been reviewed, but no fresh leads have come up.
Police Appeal for Information
Hampshire Constabulary stress that no crime is currently suspected and Rosie remains officially missing. The family is being kept up to date.
