Silver Honda Leads Cops on Wild Chase Through Kent
At 9.15am on Wednesday 25 May, police spotted a silver Honda CRV in Marden Road, #Staplehurst. Suspecting the car was stolen, officers signalled the driver to stop — but the vehicle sped off instead, launching a dangerous pursuit along rural roads.
High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Crash and Foot Chase
The chase ended on Spelmonden Road, #Horsmonden, when the Honda collided with another car and was abandoned. The occupants then fled on foot.
Police Helicopter Helps Nab Fugitives
Thanks to helicopter support, officers arrested two men and a teenage boy, who were taken into custody shortly after the crash.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
“Drivers in Staplehurst, Marden and Horsmonden may have seen the silver Honda travelling at speed,” said PC Paul Otter of Maidstone CID. “We are urging motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV to check for footage that may assist our investigation.”
