Granny Brutally Mugged in Dundee: Police Hunt Two Teens
In a shocking attack late Saturday night, an 80-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and robbed of her handbag, which contained hundreds in cash. The vile robbery happened between 10.20pm and 10.50pm at the junction of Lilybank Terrace and Lilybank Road in Dundee.
Victim Left Seriously Injured
The elderly woman suffered serious facial injuries in the assault. She was rushed to Ninewells Hospital, treated, and thankfully released. But the trauma has left her shaken and distraught.
Police Seek Two Male Teens in Dark Clothes
Officers are urgently appealing for help identifying two male youths in their late teens. Both were wearing dark clothing and spotted fleeing toward Broughty Ferry Road just after the attack.
Detective Sergeant Craig Kelly urged: “This lady was robbed and left not only seriously injured but distraught by what happened. We want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or knows the youths involved.”
