Man attacked in broad daylight on M25 slip road after traffic light row
Incident on M25 near Dartford Tunnel
At around 11:30am on Saturday 4 March 2023, a man driving a red Vauxhall Viva left the M25 at the Swanley slip road. While held in a queue at the traffic lights, another motorist allegedly jumped out of a black Mini and attacked him.
Victim suffers facial injury
The victim was left with a cut to his face that needed hospital treatment. Police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested a man in his 50s in connection with the assault.
Police appeal for witnesses
PC Lexi Carter said: “Other motorists were in the queue at the traffic lights and may have witnessed this incident.”
She added: “An investigation is underway and we are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist our enquiries to get in touch.”
