CCTV Snap Unleashed in Hunt for Teenage Shoe Snatcher in Rainham
Kent Police have unleashed CCTV images of a motorist who might hold the key to a bizarre robbery in Rainham. The footage could help crack a case where a teenage girl was shoved to the ground and robbed of her shoes.
Victim Pushed and Robbed on Langdale Close
The incident happened around 3.30pm on Friday, 2 October 2020. A man pushed the girl to the floor before snatching her shoes and making off.
Luckily, the victim escaped without injuries. The suspect vanished from the scene, leaving police scrambling for leads.
Police Plea: Recognise This Man?
Officers have reviewed CCTV and gathered witness info to release images of a potential witness or accomplice who could shed light on the mystery.
“While we appreciate these images are not of the highest quality, we believe the man in them has important information that can help with our enquiries,” said Police Constable Ben Slocombe, leading the probe.
“If anyone recognises the individual from his crash helmet, clothing or bike, I encourage them to get in contact with us ASAP.”
“Also, motorists travelling nearby are urged to check dashcam footage for the suspicious bike.”
