Body Found on Itchen Bridge Sparks Police Probe
Police launched a full investigation after a body was discovered on Southampton’s Itchen Bridge this afternoon (January 29).
Welfare Concern Called in at 1.45pm
Officers were scrambled at around 1.45pm following a welfare concern for a man. Tragically, a body was later found at the scene.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Piece Together Events
Detectives are desperate to track down anyone who saw the man on the bridge around 1.45pm. They describe him as white, aged 40-50, with short greying hair and a large build.
