Spot the Red-Top Man Caught Up in Nottingham Brawl
Police have released an image of a man in a red top they urgently want to speak to after a street fight broke out in Nottingham city centre.
Row Erupts After Football Match
The scrum unfolded on Canal Street between 7pm and 7.30pm on Saturday, 20 August, just after the Notts County vs Chesterfield game. A group of men and teenagers clashed in the street, sparking chaos.
Police Seek Vital Witnesses
Officers are piecing together exactly what happened and believe this man holds key information. Sergeant Steve Willetts of Nottinghamshire Police said:
“We’re asking for the public’s help to identify the man in these images. We believe he may have vital information that could help with our ongoing investigation into the fight.
Thankfully, no one was seriously injured during the incident back in August and we have already made arrests but are still looking to piece together exactly what happened, so would urge anyone with any information to get in touch.”
