Blow-Up Ends in Dangerous Crash

At 3.39am on Saturday, 1 August, police rushed to Euston Road near Melton Street following reports of a collision. On arrival, officers and paramedics found a 30-year-old victim suffering a severe head injury.

Investigators believe the injury happened during a violent clash between two men, where one drove a vehicle directly at the victim.

Victim Hospitalised, Suspect Arrested

The injured man was rushed to a north London hospital with life-threatening injuries. Although now discharged, he faces ongoing treatment.

A 27-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at the scene. He has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.

Police Plea: Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

“I know that there were witnesses present when this incident took place, but unfortunately, most left the scene without speaking to officers. I urge those people to now come forward and speak with us about what they saw,” said Detective Constable Sotiria Koilia.

“You can contact us anonymously via Crimestoppers if you don’t want to speak directly to police, but please do get in touch. A man was seriously injured in this incident and it is important that we have clarity on the circumstances leading up to, and immediately following, the incident.

“If you were there, even if you don’t believe you have anything of value to add, please do get in touch.”
