Rage Over Mask Sparks Racial Abuse at London Station

Just before 6pm on Tuesday 13 October, a man asked a rail staff member for help with his Oyster card. When she asked him to wear a mask first, he flew into a rage.

Mask Refusal Turns Ugly

The man refused to cover his face and started shouting at the rail worker. He stormed into a station shop, but didn’t stop there. He came back out and hurled racial abuse at the staff member before leaving the station.

Man Returns to Take Creepy Photo

The next day, the same man reportedly returned, snapped a photo of the rail worker, then disappeared again. Police are now hunting him.

Police Seek Public Help

Officers believe the man caught on CCTV may hold vital clues to the case. If you recognise him, contact British Transport Police immediately.
