Ambulance Crew Targeted in Knife Threat Outside London Hospital
Drama struck on Monday, 2 May at 7.55pm outside University College Hospital when an ambulance crew faced a terrifying knife threat.
Knife-Wielding Attacker Targets Paramedic
An ambulance crew had just dropped off a patient and parked in the ambulance bay. While a male crew member stood outside the vehicle, a man suddenly approached from behind and pressed a knife to his back.
Quick Thinking Saves the Day
Luckily, the paramedic managed to calm the attacker down. The suspect eventually backed off, stowed the knife in a bag, and fled the scene.
