Tragedy on M40: Young Man Killed in Horror Crash
Police are hunting for witnesses after a deadly smash on the M40 last night (Tuesday, 19 November). The horror collision happened just before 10.15pm on the northbound carriageway, between junctions 12 and 13, near Warwick services.
Four Vehicles Involved in High-Speed Horror
The crash involved four vehicles: a Peugeot Partner van, two big artic lorries, and a VW Golf. The Golf driver, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but tragically later died. His next of kin have been informed.
The Peugeot van driver, a man in his 40s, was also taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency services closed the road to deal with the chaos.
Police Plea for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage
“While investigations continue, we urge anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward,” said PC Drew Ballantyne from Warwickshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit. “Our thoughts remain with the victim’s family at this difficult time.”
