Teen Attacked in Broad Daylight on Buckingham Railway Walk

A 16-year-old boy was punched in the face after refusing to hand over his chain during a chilling daytime attack on Sunday afternoon.

Gang of Six Teens Launch Unprovoked Attack

At 3.30pm on November 8, the victim and his girlfriend were walking along Buckingham Railway Walk, between the A421 ring road and Hunter Street, when six teenage boys confronted them.

One thug grabbed the chain around the boy’s neck and demanded it. When the victim stood his ground, he was punched hard in the face. The attackers then gave chase along the path before the boy managed to escape.

Victim Hospitalised but Nothing Stolen

The youngster suffered cuts and swelling around his eye and needed hospital treatment, but thankfully no property was stolen. He has since been discharged.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Constable Carolyn Bailey of Aylesbury police station said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim, who required hospital treatment for his injuries. I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.”
