Knife-Wielding Teens Tried to Rob Woman in Havant

A 21-year-old woman had a lucky escape on Petersfield Road, Havant, after two knife-brandishing teens tried to rob her at around 10:10pm on Monday, September 28.

Bicycles, Threats and a Narrow Miss

The victim was walking south when two teenagers on bikes approached her. One pulled a black-handled knife and demanded cash. Luckily, she wasn’t hurt and nothing was stolen.

Suspects Descriptions and Where They Fled

  • Teen 1: White, 16-18 years old, wearing a black ¾ length coat with hood up, black tracksuit bottoms, and a black snood covering his lower face.
  • Teen 2: White, 16-18 years old, in a grey reflective ¾ length jacket, no mask.

Both sped off on bikes toward the gateway near the new flats on the old pub site on Petersfield Road.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

No other similar incidents have been reported nearby. Police urge anyone who spotted these youths to call 101, quoting reference 44200377239.
