Thousands Set Up Payment Plans as Self Assessment Deadline Looms
Nearly 21,600 Self Assessment taxpayers who couldn’t pay their full tax bill have set up manageable monthly instalments since 6 April 2022. That’s almost 4,000 more than last year, HMRC reveals.
Don’t Miss the 31 January Deadline – File Early!
The deadline to submit tax returns for the 2021-2022 tax year and pay any owed tax is 31 January 2023. HMRC urges people to file early. Those who do will know exactly what they owe and can budget their payments.
